Follow these 6 easy steps to start exploring the vast world of 6,000+ credit card deals in Hong Kong.

Step 1: Set up your profile to personalize your experience

Once you have downloaded the app, you can create an account in seconds. Signing up gives you immediate access to an enhanced experience on krip HK, including content personalization, filtering by cards, deals bookmarking, and more. 

When you sign up, you can select your cards out of over 480 credit and debit cards from all 25 card issuers in Hong Kong, and krip HK will personalize deals content by showing only the ones that are relevant to you. No credit card information is necessary during the process either, so there’s no need to worry about sharing sensitive information. It’s really as simple as tapping on a card image. 

You can still use the app without signing up, but you will be missing out on the conveniences that a personalized experience can bring you at no extra cost. 

Step 2: Using the search bar and Nearby Deals function

Search bar helps you immediately find deals for merchants you may already have in mind. Curious about what deals can be found at the Grand Hyatt hotel for your credit cards? Just type in “Grand Hyatt” in the search bar, and relevant shops and restaurants with card deals will be immediately displayed. 

Don’t have a place in mind and want to know what deals are available nearby? Simply toggle the Nearby Deals button and allow krip HK to access your location to identify which district you are currently in.

Whether it’s deciding on a place for lunch or finding a quick gift while out and about, Nearby Deals helps you simplify the search process to your location. Better yet, you can still continue to apply previous filter options at the same time.

Step 3: Filter deals by category, location, and deals type

There are multiple filter options for you to narrow down your search further: by retail category and their sub-categories, location, and deals type. 

Searching by retail category is perhaps the most fun process, allowing you to freely explore every kind of deal that is out there. Each category is further divided into numerous sub-categories, allowing granular search for exactly the kind of stores you want to see. 

We have also mapped out the location of all shops’ branches with credit card deals in Hong Kong, allowing you to narrow down your search to specific districts. Simply select the places you’re interested in for even more focused results. This filter function is especially handy if you venture to unknown places and want to explore local eats and shops. 

krip HK further categorizes all deals into several types, so you can find the most rewarding deals with your credit cards. 

Step 4: Filter search by credit cards 

There is also the option of filtering by the credit cards you have selected for your profile. In addition to the on/off toggle, you can even select specifically which of your cards to include in the filter, giving you an easy way to find out all the deals available for any particular card you have in your wallet. 

Step 5: Dive into details about merchants and deals 

Once you have found a shop of interest, tap into its profile to find additional info about the merchant, including contact information, branches locations, and website link. 

Scroll down further and you will find a list of applicable deals for the merchant. Click into any of them to learn more about each deal, including expiry date, terms and conditions, and list of applicable credit cards.

At the bottom, you can also explore which other credit cards offer deals at this merchant that you don’t currently have on your profile – a handy feature if you’re considering a new credit card.

Step 6: Bookmark favourite deals for later 

Save interesting card deals for future reference so you can always quickly refer back to important details, especially expiry dates. Remember that many credit card deals don’t last year-round!
